About National Management Olympiad

1. Idea Behind National Management Olympiad, is to find and encourage best budding management students and aspirants with a focus to bring academic excellence closer to practical implementation in real world management environment.
   
   
2. National Management Olympiad is poised to reach thousands of management students and aspirants across India.
   
   
3. National Management Olympiad will be organized online & it will require 1-2 hour in a week from participants that too with ease of participation from any hand-held device or laptop/computer. We understand time constraint participants faces due to academic or professional commitments keeping this in mind, NMO is designed to provide structured learning and exposure to its participants.

Quizzes:- these quizzes are intended to test participant's academic skills.

Business case scenarios: Business case scenarios(BCS) are designed to test Participant's ability to implement academic knowledge in real world environment.

Activity Details

Main Quiz

1. When: Sunday, 11th September 2022
   
   
2. Format: MCQ + business case scenario based MCQs, Main quiz will be of 100 questions, 20 from each department, It will be based on 5 basic business management Departments namely Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Leadership, multiple choice questions will be of graduate level.
   
   
3. Result: Percentile will be declared for team Formation
   
   
4. 5 Teams will get to the Quarter Finals
   
   

Quarter Final

1. When: Sunday, 25 September 2022
   
   
2. 5 Teams will participate in Quarter Final.
   
   
3. Business case scenario 10 Will be published on NMO Portal, All participants in Teams will work in tandem and prepare a department wise solution for published business case scenario, which will be submitted on the portal.
   
   
4. Last Date of Submission: Sunday, 25 September 2022
   
   

These solutions will be available for voting.
Who can vote:

1. All Registered Participants in NMO
   
   
2. All Faculty Experts from Various Colleges across India.
   
   
3. All Industry Experts From Various Corporates and Industries
   
   
4. Judges Committee members of NMO
   
   

Every vote will have different weightage & and these votes will be converted to Points according to their weightage.,
Result: Basis on the points received Top 3 Teams will qualify for Semi-finals.

Semi Final & Final

1. Semi-Finals: On Sunday, 9 October 2022 Business case scenario 11 will be published on NMO portal, and process will be followed as mentioned above & top two teams will qualify for Finals.
   
   
2. Finals: On Sunday, 23 October Business case scenario 12 will be published on NMO portal, and process will be followed as above & Winner Declaration At Event.
   
   

Other Activities

#TakeNMOchallange

1. What is TakeNMO challenge: #TakeNMOchallange is an opportunity for NMO Participants to showcase their "on the ground" capabilities to the corporates directly. Challenges will be given by companies & their representatives directly and participants can perform requested activities in any city across India.
   
   
2. How to take a Challenge: Participants should read and understand task carefully and post their activities on social media directly with #TakeNMOchallange & hashtag associated with that particular Challenge. Corporates will evaluate the activities and announce winner/s of The Challenge.
   
   
3. Eligibility to take a Challenge: The contestant should be participant of National Management Olympiad. Which means contestant must fulfill terms and condition of becoming National Management Olympiad participant.
   
   
4. How often you can take a challenge:
   1. Participants can take part in all challenges.
   2. For each challenge only latest entry/posting from participant will be counted as qualified entry.
      
      
5. Rewards of taking a challenge:
   1. Rewards/Prizes will be announced along with every challenge.
