Q. Dr. Sandeep, how do you assess the current digital payment scenario/infrastructure of India? Where are we standing compared to the other nations in Digital Payment mechanism?

Indian digital payments and its adoption is growing year on year and we have some very innovative solutions from NPCI such as UPI, in the Indian market. India started bit late in digital payments which goes in favour and we are not having solutions which are ahead compared to rest of the world.

Q. What is more important, according to you, in the Corporate Life?
A) Subject Matter Expertise B) Effective Communication

In Corporate life, one has to have both skills to be successful. In leadership level effective communication score more.

Q. Dr. Sandeep, your qualification from post graduation to PHD is all technical, but you chose Human Resource (HR) as specialization in your MBA program. Can you elaborate, as to why you made that choice?

I have always been a tech savvy person, and all the studies I have done were related to technical aspects. I personally wanted to understand human aspect and its importance. During my MBA , I came to know these aspects and HR specialization helped me grow as a better person.

Q. Where do you find/assess current and future employment probabilities in the Digital space overall? What skills you will recommend the youth to acquire to be future ready for jobs?

In last decade digital space is growing at fast pace. I am not sure if this speed will get slow or fast, my recommendation would be good get ready for change. Work on your long term and short term strategy. In short term may be a specific language or database product will help, but for long term it matters how can you solve bigger problems but going in deep in one or two topics.
