Case UnderstandingFresh Growers is a Pune based startup, started by Chitranjan Desai in year 2019. He wanted to bring the idea of farm to table to India, and thus started the business, he tied up with local farmers in order to fresh organic vegetables directly from farm to consumers. However, on supply side he faced issues with farmers using age old techniques and also not willing to use organic methods of cultivation. On demand side, due to deficient marketing practices he had low number of subscribers and thus in order to expand his business and reach break even point a consulting firm was hired to provide relevant solution and business plan.
BCS Solution SummaryThere will also be a change in the existing organization structure, from current structure, there will be a transition to divisional organizational structure. There will also be an addition to the existing work pool of the employees.
Solution

People are the greatest resource. Human resources play an important role in changing, reinforcing and developing the culture of an organization, especially in an ever growing, fast paced global economy.

The expansion of Fresh Growers will be successful only when the goal of people is aligned with the goals of the organization, in the process of expansion, there is going to be an addition to the inventory of existing human resources and with that it is essential to train them to inculcate values, integrity and ethics of the organization.

There will also be a change in the existing organization structure, from current structure, there will be a transition to divisional organizational structure, in order to bring efficiency and standardization in day-to-day operations. 

We will also be collaborating with online employers to reduce the cost and also with government organisations, there will also be a change in the existing business model. 

ConclusionWe expect Fresh Growers to expand their business, reach break even and also grow and develop their business at the end of 2 years, we believe our plan will increase the net revenue of the firm and also the cost effectiveness, by hiring the right talent and inculcating skills and creating job satisfaction for them will help Fresh Growers have a strong market hold and thus establish themselves. We also believe our solution will help reduce operational costs of the firm and our plan will bring standardization in day-to-day work, ensuring the smooth flow and high efficiency being maintained.
