A detailed overview of the Financial target, Product Mix & Expansion Plan for Next 5 Year.
Case Understanding
The global automotive industry is at the cusp of a paradigm shift from internal combustion engine vehicles to zero emission vehicles owing to the stringent regulatory interventions by Governments worldwide as a result of depleting air quality and greenhouse gas emissions. India, too, is actively exploring cost effective and viable solutions to the problem of poor air quality in a number of its cities as well as reducing its excessive dependence on oil imports. The country has announced a significant shift to an all electric fleet by 2030, which necessitates attention and action by automakers, suppliers (including battery manufacturers), dealers and utility players alike. As various stakeholders look to understand the implications of this transition and re-align their businesses with the Governments agenda, the e charging business has a great prospect .
BCS Solution Summary
Introduction- Renewable energy has great scope in India. The automobile industry is one of them, the Automobile sector has taken several giant steps in this direction around the world recently but the Indian market is still at an infant stage. As compared to other countries, the market share of electric vehicles is extremely low in India….. So why is that? One of the main reason is the battery life and lack of range in electric vehicles (EVs). Unlike a petrol station, you won't find a charging station everywhere. At least not outside cities. So what if your EV get stuck in a remote area or somewhere else and you don’t have charging. No problem. We are here for you. E vech savior is a company in the e-commerce sector that provides you with MOBILE CHARGING STATIONS. The customer will give a call or a message on the app whether they need- 1.charging 2. a new battery 3.or any technical support. And if the problem is big, we can take the vehicle to the nearest service station.
Solution

Financial target. For the next five years.

Since the company is a start-up, and there is no prior data for how much the company will earn as there's is nothing to compare too. Moreover how the customer base will respond to the services is also not known. However as per financial feasibility analysis by E&Y shows a profitable business ahead.

The company aspires not only to survive In initial years of business but also to expand its business nationwide and grab opportunities on its way to accomplishing its pan India mission.

The following statements are the rough estimates of how the business will behave in upcoming years., but it's not certain and room of deviations should be kept in mind and revision of financial targets must be done periodically and goals of the entity should be SMART(specific, measureable, acheiveavle, realistic and timely).

Product mix.

The Product Mix also called Product Assortment, refers to the complete range of products that are offered for sale by the company. In other words, the number of product lines that a company has for its customers is called a product mix.

e vech saviour(EVS) is a service-based company, so services instead of products will be sold.

Successfully expanding a product mix can help a firm adjust to changing consumer demand/preferences while reducing product risk and reliance on a single product or product line. This, in turn, generates substantial profits for the firm. On the other hand, poor product mix expansion can result in a detrimental impact on a firm’s brand image and profitability. However since business is a startup, there are only a few products (SERVICES) provided.

EXPANSION STRATEGY-

The EVSE charging infrastructure in India is growing, as the number of electric vehicles on the road is increasing day-by-day. Various government initiatives to curb pollution will be a major factor behind the increasing number of electric vehicles on the road, this will further bolster the growth of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure market.

The concept of EVS is of derived demand . the more the e-vehicles, the more likely business is to be flourished. Following are some expansion ideas if business flourishes-

  1. Increase the operations to more cities.

The first and foremost try is to expand to first in major cities (top 3 commercial cities of India by 2 years).

The selection of the cities will be done as per market analysis based on profitability in entry and favorable trends.

After this, the main 300 cities of India is the target by 2030

In between, it is also planned to open the energy stations in the main 20 cities of India with a system of solar energy charging. but this will only be done if profitable.

According to govt. schemes, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujrat will on top of the list to expand business with the head office at Bengaluru.

Further options available for expansion are-

Rapid fast charging

Fast charging systems are generally described as chargers providing high power output capable of charging a vehicle to 80% in as little as 15 minutes. Such charge points are common at present and are in the range of 20-50kW. Charging solutions for the 100kW level may be available in the medium term. Such systems are generally applicable for major road networks, highways and other places where drivers might need a quick top-up for their onward journey.

Battery swapping

In the battery swapping mechanism, the battery is separated from the vehicle and will not be owned by the vehicle owner but an energy operator (provider of the charged battery as a service). The energy operator will buy the batteries, charge them and lease it to the vehicle owners at convenient charge-cum-swap centers.

Range extension (RE) systems

RE systems are incorporated as a vehicle designed with a small built-in fixed battery and a removable secondary battery called "range-extension swappable lock smart (LS) batteries (or RE battery). The smaller battery can be regularly conductively charged catering to smaller distances and in the case of a long-range journey, the RE battery can be swapped in for an extended range. RE systems, as a result, reduce the upfront costs of a vehicle and also reduce the weight, which is a key efficiency metric in the EVs.

Wireless charging

To enable longer service hours, smaller battery packs and autonomous solutions, EVs with in-motion (dynamic) wireless charging have emerged as a potential solution. Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. introduced the Halo™ Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) system, enabling quick charging with high power. We can do it with some resources or with a partnership with an appropriate partner.

Renewable energy charging

The impact of operating an EV on climate depends largely on the sources of electricity used to charge up the vehicles' batteries. The adoption of wind and solar-based charging for EVs could increase the adoption and penetration levels of renewable energy sources.

Conclusion
With the growing popularity of electric vehicles, the global EV charging infrastructure market is expected to skyrocket to $45.59 Bn by 2025, as per a report by Grand View Research. Within this sector, the fast charging segment is poised to witness the fastest growth, with an estimated CAGR of around 47.9% from 2017 to 2025, the report by Grand View Research predicts. Keeping in mind the study and various other reports. the EVS seems to have a budding future.

Very good research work, Distributing responsibility against roles was nicely explained. Financial Calculations are well described, But it could have been better if action plans were clear and well described. Keep up the Good Work!

You have done a hard work here, covered everything in details. Covered almost all the related accessories in Expansion plan, which was an add on to the project. Its more of a research work, too much data collections. Best of Luck.
